’97 Conference Announced
Courage to Care Conference on April 12
The Annual Courage to Care Conference of the Guilford Regional AIDS Interfaith Network will be held on April 12 at Temple Emmanu-el in Greensboro, NC. The keynote speaker for this year is Ron Casanova. Casanova is an activist and author. His recent book, Each One, Teach One: Up and Out of Poverty - Memoirs of a Street Activist.
Cassanova is an urban activist who has been homeless for most of his life. He is a person living with AIDS and founder of Artists for a Better America and vice president of the National Union of the Homeless. He is from Kansas City, MO; Milwaukee, WS, and Philadelphia, PA.
