NEW DIRECTIONS, NEAC’s 2002 Conference, to be held October 11–12, 2002

As the HIV/AIDS pandemic continues to affect our communities in new ways, it is important that we extend our ministries in “New Directions.” We are excited to announce that on October 11–12, 2002 NEAC will hold a two-day conference on those New Directions at the Radisson Hotel in Austin, Texas.

New Directions 2002 will extend our ministries in four primary areas: Education and Prevention, Care and Support, Newly Affected Populations, and Partnerships. Within each of these tracks, conference sessions will explore the following questions:

  • How can we work together in new ways to educate ourselves and others about HIV/AIDS?
  • How can we provide the best care and support for our brothers and sisters who are affected by this pandemic?
  • How can we better educate and support new communities most affected by HIV/AIDS?
  • How can we establish working partnerships with other groups and faiths to better serve those who need our ministries the most?

We hope you can help us find some answers to these important questions. Save the date—October 11–12, 2002—and plan to attend New Directions 2002 in Austin, Texas.
