Truer Words…

Former President Bill Clinton, now co-chair (with Nelson Mandela) of the International AIDS Trust, at a Kaiser Foundation meeting:

I always have some ambivalence about these meetings. I sat and I thought for a long time what in the wide world could I say here today that you haven’t heard before. And a lot of you are long-time soldiers in the battle against AIDS. And I sometimes get frustrated that we all seem to be preaching to the saved; that we tell each other what we want to say, partly out of frustration that we can’t convince people who could help us that we’re right.
