Resolved, the House of Deputies concurring, That this 69th Convention directs that the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church establish the Second Sunday in October as the annual National Day of Prayer and Healing for All Persons Touched by the AIDS Epidemic with appropriate materials developed for use by the Episcopal Church Center and distributed to all parishes well in advance of the day of prayer; and it be further

Resolved, that the Presiding Bishop is requested to use his leadership to establish an Interfaith Day of Prayer and Healing with Special Intentions for All Persons Touched by the AIDS Epidemic by 1990.
