70th General Convention: B025: Removal of HIV from the list of Diseases Warranting Entry Restricts.

Resolved, The House of Deputies concurring, That this 70th General Convention of the Episcopal Church petition the President of the United States, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, and the Centers for Disease Control to rescind the provision of Interim Rule 42, CFR Part 34, Medical Examination of Aliens, which temporarily reinstates HIV to the list of communicable diseases that warrant restrictions on the travel of foreigners to and within the United States, from which list it had previously been removed.
