An Opportunity to Serve on the NEAC Board
The National Episcopal AIDS Coalition (NEAC) is seeking nominations for new Board Members. As a national, volunteer-based organization, the NEAC Board meets two to three times each year in different regions of the U.S.
- As the Episcopal Church’s primary national response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the U.S.
- NEAC serves as a voice and advocate for AIDS service organizations and those engaged in HIV/AIDS ministry in the Episcopal Church.
- NEAC engages in HIV prevention activities, including development and production of prevention resources.
- Most importantly, NEAC serves as a reminder to God’s people that “Our Church Still has AIDS!”
NEAC Board members are elected for four-year terms and are expected to attend each board meeting, actively engage in the work of NEAC, and contribute financially to that work.
Persons interested in serving on the NEAC Board who have significant time available to devote to NEAC over the course of their tenure, professional background experience that includes successful goal achievement, a passion for HIV/AIDS ministry, and leadership experience within the EPiscopal Church should make inquiries and send biographical information no later than December 31, 2007 to:
