We’re excited about the new site and hope you like it as much as we do. Please feel free to look around and be sure to let us know what you like (or what you don’t). We are especially hopeful that this new design will encourage a more dynamic conversation about HIV/AIDS and how the Episcopal Church can respond to it.
You will notice we now have a blog, where we will feature thoughts and reflections on various aspects of HIV/AIDS from a variety of voices. If you have an interest in writing for the blog, please contact us at neac@neac.org and let us know!
Our Resources section features materials we hope you find useful as you consider HIV/AIDS ministry. In particular, we have identified numerous toolkits that should prove invaluable to your work. If you know of a resource we should add, please let us know!
In our News section, we will be highlighting stories that speak about HIV/AIDS and preferably address the intersection of AIDS and religious faith. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to send them to us. Another good way to alert us to these stories is to post them on our Facebook page.
You will notice our quizzes have been placed into a new format. The structure of these quizzes was difficult to use in our previous format; we hope you find this version more user-friendly.
We also have a new submission process for remembering those who have departed us. We hope you will continue to submit the names of loved ones, that we might hold them in prayer.
Finally, we have a new, more secure and easier way to process online donations. We are grateful for your support of our work and hope you will consider supporting us not only financially, but with your time and insight also. Our new site offers you the chance to share your voice through our blog and to tell us about your ministry through our news feature.
We will be continuing to add new content but we just could not wait any longer to share this work with you. I hope you like it!
So take a look around and tell us what you think in the comments section below!
